I have Kindle for PC V1.28 (57030) on my windows desktop, but it no longer seems to want to work ! I don't remember Waterstone's every nipping round to my house and stealing back the books I bought from them, but there we are, another retrograde step to keep mega rich foreign corporations in the wealth they've become accustomed to. I was also surprised that having PURCHASED the previous books they don't automatically download, you have to go and get them a few at a time. I'm sure I'll eventually make it usable, but its a pain in the backside.
